Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join a start up biotechnology facility in Cork.

The role will report to the Engineering/EHS Team Leader and will be providing a service to all departments in a team based environment, interacting with maintenance technicians and engineering colleagues.

The Maintenance Reliability Engineer with be responsible for providing technical leadership to maximise the uptime and operating efficiencies of equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring the status of the reliability maintenance program
• Implementing reliability maintenance program improvements
• Facilitiating the indentification and communication of the root causes of looses in the operation of production, facility and utility [processes and initiate activities to eliminate their root causes
• Ranking the criticality of assessts and defining the proactive maintenance approaches that will benefit the business
• Representing reliability maintenance to other organisations and functions
• Developing procedures and specifications for the reliability maintenance aspects of existing and new equipment, and help in planning shutdowns.

 

Requirements include:

• Diploma / Degree in an Engineering disciploine or Time served trade (Electrical / Mechanical)
• 4yrs+ experience in the maintenance of process equipment and familiarity with equipment reliability principles.
• Experience working in a team based environment.
• Knowledge of CMMS and Reliability softward tools
• Strong ability to lead, challenge and positively influence in an interactive team environment
• Demonstrated understanding and use of RFT techniques and/or lean manufacturing concepts.
