Description

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner/ Scheduler to join a start up biotechnology facility in Cork.

Reporting to the Engineering/EHS Team Leader, this position will develop processes  to enable Continuous Improvement of all aspects of Maintenance through the use of both RFT and GRP tools. This position will Utilize a data driven approach to enhance the quality and compliance of maintenance operations. 

Responsibilities will include: 

• Plan, schedule and coordinate corrective and preventative maintenance activities
• Develop a weekly maintenance schedule and assist maintenance management in determining job priorities
• Ensure that the CMMS data files are complete and current
• Ensure that all required materials, tools and documents are available prior to the execution of the work order
• Plan and schedule shutdown activities
• Assist in purchasing of materials and store management
• Assist in training in maintenance processes and CMMS
• Assist in the improvement of maintenance management processes     
• Compile and publish various Engineering K.P.I.'s. 
• Support Audit preparation and completion of corrective actions, participation in inspections, audits, evaluations and risk assessments

Requirements Include:

• Diploma or Degree in appropriate Engineering discipline or Time Served Trade (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent qualification
• 5yrs experience in Maintenance of Process Equipment
• Previous experience of working with a computerized maintenance management system
• Demonstrated ability to deliver to site, team and personal objectives..
• Demonstrated understanding and use of RFT techniques and lean manufacturing concepts
