Description
Our client, a leading Multinational, is looking for a Health, Safety & Environmental Engineer to join their Manufacturing team on a permanent basis.
The HSE Engineer will be responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of company HSE management system.
Responsibilities:
- Complete risk assessments and HAZOP studies
- Issuing permits and ensuring compliance
- Manage the HSE training program
- Carry out audits and site inspections
- Liaise with the HSA and the EPA
- Administer site occupational monitoring program
- Investigate and advise on water/air issues
- Submission of information and reports to the EPA and other statutory bodies
Requirements:
- Degree level qualification in Engineering (Preferably chemical) and appropriate background in the Health, Safety and Environmental areas
- Minimum of 3 yrs+ HSE experience
- Must possess computer skills and also basic skills in first aid, PPE use and procedure writing
- High standards and enthusiasm are vital
- Strong technical capabilities and project management capabilities
