Description
Our client is a large multinational who manufacture and distribute food & beverages. They are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to work at the SSC in Cork.
1. Financial Accounting, Reporting and Planning
• Demonstrate and apply knowledge of accounting and tax principles to ensure accurate reporting of monthly/periodic results.
• Support the appropriate delivery of Financial results through structured joint-effort with the Market Unit Finance Function and active monitoring of P&L, Balance sheet and Operating Free Cash Flow.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reports through vigorous Profit and Loss and balance sheet reviews, cause of change analysis, and identification of opportunities for streamlining of financial operations.
• Preparation of month/period end reporting files, ensuring compliance with local/US reporting requirements. No reporting errors.

• Liase with Corporate legal and tax departments as required.
