Description

We are currently seeking a Finance Analyst for an 18 month contract role with a multinational pharmaceutical client , based in their manufacturing facility in Cork.

The successful candidate will be repsonsible for the maintenance of the fixed asset systems within the plant, financial reporting for the plant and providing general financial support to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop & Maintain Capital systems for the facility
• Responsible for the accruals, prepayments, intercompany and fixed asset sections of the month end close process
• Ensure all the internal controls of the facility are maintained and that local controls are compliant with corporate policies and procedures.
• Key team member involved in ensuring site readiness for Sarbanes Oxley annual audit of internal controls.
• Support the development of annual budgets for the facility and the forecasting process from a spend perspective including development of capital and depreciation budgets and forecasts
• Liaison between Global Financial Shared Services Organisation and the site

 

Requirements Include:

• Qualified Accountant designation (ACA / CIMA / ACCA /CPA)
• Relevant industrial accounting experience, preferably within a large multinational environment or strong newly qualified
• Demonstrated knowledge of internal accounting, financial and operating controls
• Solid leadership skills and the ability to effectively interact with management
• Proven self-starter with ability to set objectives and plans; work effectively with minimal supervision
