Brian Flynn – Director, Executive Search

Brian has primary (1973) and Masters (1991) degrees in Psychology from UCC. Brian is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has held key HR positions in Ferrero, Wexford Electronics and Glaxo SmithKline.

He has served as a Regional Officer with IBEC and subsequently managed his own consulting company for a number of years.

He joined Fastnet in 2006 from his responsibility as Director of Human Resources at Schering Plough, Brinny where staff numbers reached 980.

Niamh O’Driscoll – Managing Director – Fastnet Recruitment & Search

Niamh graduated from UCC with a BA in 1992, and was awarded a Diploma in Business Studies by the University of Limerick in 1993. She later returned to UCC and was awarded a Diploma in Personnel Management. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and Secretary of the Southern Region.

Her early career experience was in HR and Operations Management in the light engineering sector before moving to recruitment in 1997. Niamh has led and managed the growth of Fastnet for the past 7/8 years.

Pat O’Driscoll – Director
 
Pat was awarded BSc and MSc in Chemistry in the late 60’s and returned to UCC at a later date to study for his MBA. His main career experience has been in Pharmaceuticals, firstly as one of the start up team for the first Pfizer operation in Ringaskiddy and later at FMC International where he was General Manager for 22 years.

He was national President of the Irish Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Federation and served as a Board Member of An Bord Trachtála before it was incorporated in Enterprise Ireland.

He is Chairman of Cork Cancer Research Centre and serves on the Board of the Family Business Partnership at UCC.
